The San Luis Valley Seed Exchange is looking for one to two more people to help us develop our future events.
- Do you care immensely about food sovereignty and security in our region?
- Do you want to inspire children into gardening?
- Do you care about water conservation and healthy soil?
- Do you see yourself as part of a vibrant and strong community centered around the growing, preparing and sharing of food?
- Do you have a good communication skill set?
If so, we would love to speak to you about helping with our upcoming event and possibly joining our board.
Our current needs center around contacting vendors, sponsors, day-of volunteers and advertisers. It’s about 3 hours per week of work until the event. We also always need volunteers the day-of to sign people in, direct them around the grounds and be general help – this can be done in shifts of 3 hours.
